Kimberly Nieva Promoted to VP of Operations

KIMBERLY NIEVA PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS/DEEP WELL RECORDS & DEEP WELL PUBLISHING
Los Angeles, CA: Adam Anders, Founder and CEO of Deep Well Records/Capitol Music Group, today announced the promotion of Kimberly Nieva to the position of Vice President of Operations for Deep Well Records a label imprint of Capitol Music Group and Deep Well Publishing. Nieva joined Deep Well in September, 2015 and previously held the position of Director of Operations for both the label and the publishing company.
As Vice President of Operations, Nieva will oversee all aspects of Deep Wells’ business, including all administration and creative, deal structures with artist/writers, album agreements as well as setting up of co-writing sessions for all talent signed to both Deep Well Records and Publishing. In addition, Nieva will oversee music supervision for all AMI Productions (she was recently the co-music supervisor for The Passion: New Orleans) as well as the company’s soundtracks, social and digital media coverage, maintaining the Deep Well Publishing catalog through Kobalt/Fuji Pacific and also overseeing Deep Well’s co-publishing partnership with Native Tongue. She will also work with all corporate partners on a variety of upcoming media projects for both the label and the publishing companies.
Prior to her joining Deep Well, Nieva was Founder of Engine House Music, a consulting firm that provided creative and administration direction for companies. There, she handled publishing accounts for major label artists, liaised with a number of international clients, organized the Belfast Music Week for two consecutive years and worked with The Invitational Group, an annual exclusive artist/songwriter retreat in Bali. Nieva has continued her work with this particular event and now initiates for the Deep Well music brand.
Nieva began her career at WaveGroup Sound working in production and licensing for video games such as Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Karaoke Revolution: American Idol and developing the studio’s label division.
